1. Who provides Wisp
SimDex operates Wisp. “Wisp,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to the service and its operator, SimDex. Questions and legal notices can be sent to simdexapp@gmail.com, with “Wisp legal” in the subject.
These terms describe the conditions for using Wisp's website, accounts and beta workspaces. Our Privacy Policy explains personal-information handling. Nothing in these terms removes rights that applicable law does not permit us to exclude. Use Wisp only if you are at least 18 and can enter a binding agreement. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to do so.
2. Accounts and beta access
Use an email address you control, protect your credentials and promptly report suspected unauthorized activity. You are responsible for actions you authorize through your account. Do not impersonate others or misrepresent your authority.
Creating an account or joining the waitlist does not guarantee a workspace or an access date. Approval and workspace assignment are separate. Access opens in stages and may be limited by capacity. We may pause or revoke access for security, misuse, legal requirements or operational reasons, with notice where practicable and required.
Your member pass identifies your original account number. Queue position can change as access opens. A pass is not a financial asset, transferable ticket or paid entitlement. Early-member perks are being considered; no specific benefit, cutoff, monetary value, discount or future price is promised unless separately announced.
3. Your projects remain yours
You retain your rights in your code, projects and content. You authorize us and our service providers to process them as necessary to perform requested operations, provide the service and maintain its security. This permission does not transfer ownership of your repository or assets to SimDex.
Only import, edit, run or publish material you are authorized to use. Respect third-party licenses, confidentiality, privacy and intellectual-property rights. You are responsible for reviewing changes, dependencies, generated code and outputs before using or distributing them.
4. Editing and running code
Wisp operates on real source files. Saving, previewing, committing, pushing and deploying are distinct operations. Saving locally does not mean a production application has been published. Supported features and integrations may vary by framework, project configuration and source-mapping confidence.
Keep independent backups. Undo may refuse to overwrite newer changes. Static analysis, source mapping, impact estimates and AI explanations can be incomplete or wrong. Review source changes and run appropriate checks before relying on them.
Project scripts and dependencies are executable code. Only run projects you trust on your assigned engine. The beta is not an isolation service for hostile code. Anyone who obtains a running preview URL may be able to view that preview until it stops. You are responsible for what you expose or share through your projects.
5. Acceptable use
Do not access another person's workspace without authorization, steal credentials, distribute malware, interfere with the service, evade access or resource limits, or use Wisp for unlawful activity. Security testing of third-party systems requires their owner's authorization. Authorized research must stay within its agreed scope. We may investigate misuse and restrict access as described above.
6. Third-party services
Repository, hosting, deployment and optional AI providers have their own terms, permissions, availability and charges. Review them before connecting a provider. Wisp does not promise universal deployment support or the accuracy of AI output. Deterministic edits and static analysis are separate from AI-generated explanations. We are not responsible for independent third-party services except where applicable law provides otherwise.
7. Wisp branding and materials
Wisp's original interface, website materials and branding are reserved to their respective rights holders. Wisp™ is a mark used by SimDex; the symbol does not claim trademark registration. Copyright notices do not claim ownership of your projects or third-party material. Third-party libraries, icons and other assets retain their own licenses and rights. Do not imply our endorsement without permission.
Downloaded source is subject to its accompanying license. Access to source does not add permissions beyond those expressly provided by its license or applicable law.
8. Availability and fees
The beta may change, encounter interruptions or discontinue features. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, error-free results, a specific launch date or fitness for a particular production workload. Keep copies of important work outside Wisp. These terms establish no subscription fee. Any future paid offer requires clear pricing, billing and cancellation terms before you purchase it.
9. Ending use and data
You may stop using Wisp and sign out at any time. Contact simdexapp@gmail.com for account closure or data requests. Signing out or losing beta access does not itself delete project files or account records. The Privacy Policy explains current retention and manual request handling. Ending access does not remove accrued legal rights or obligations that reasonably need to continue, including ownership and lawful dispute resolution.
10. Warranties and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the beta is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. These qualifications do not affect mandatory consumer guarantees or other non-excludable rights.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, SimDex is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of Wisp, including loss of profit or opportunity. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. There is no fixed monetary liability cap in these beta terms. Your location and applicable law may limit these provisions.
11. Disputes and changes
Contact simdexapp@gmail.com first so we can try to resolve a concern. Applicable law determines the competent courts and any mandatory consumer protections. These terms do not require private arbitration or waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law.
We may revise these terms as the beta develops, identifying the new effective date and providing appropriate notice of material changes. We will seek agreement where required. We do not represent that earlier users expressly accepted a version they were never shown. If you do not accept an applicable change, stop using the service and contact us about closing your account.
